Deborah L. Brewer writes fiction, creative nonfiction, and blog editorials. She especially enjoys writing traditional and historical mysteries, finding inspiration for her work in the history of women and domestic life.

As a child, Debby loved the cozy indoors so much that some of her earliest memories are of her mother and her school librarian telling her to put down her books and go play outside. Now quite grown, she lingers as long as she pleases in a book-filled room of her own.

A volunteer with Pikes Peak Writers, Debby finds satisfaction in helping fellow writers achieve their writing dreams. She lives in Colorado, where she writes, crafts, and gardens. Her days aren't quite complete without a cup of tea and a good read.
